Pengefix App
When you use the Pengefix App, we may collect the following personal data, depending on your interactions with the app:
- Sign in information (email address, PIN)
- Usage data, such as features you use within the app, time spent, and interactions
- Device information, such as device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers
- Chat data from conversations with the Silje AI feature, including names, financial information and other related details and concerns related to finances, collected to provide a personalized app experience.
The purpose of collecting this data in the Pengefix App is to:
- Provide and improve the app's functionality and user experience
- Personalize your experience within the app
- Send you relevant notifications or updates (with your consent)
- Analyze app usage to enhance performance and develop new features
The legal basis for processing personal data in the app is your consent (e.g., when you provide information or enable features like location services) or the necessity to fulfil our agreement with you for providing the app's services. For chat data, including financial information, the legal basis is your explicit consent or the necessity to provide the personalized chat service you requested. We may also process data based on our legitimate interests, such as improving the app or ensuring its security, except where your rights override these interests.
2. Who will we disclose personal information about you to?
As part of our operations, we may use including but not limited to various IT suppliers to support the Pengefix App and website. These suppliers may process personal data on our behalf, for example, for hosting, analytics, or marketing services. Chat data may be shared with AI service providers to process and analyze conversations for the Silje AI feature. In such cases, Pengefix will take appropriate measures including but not limited to signing Data Processing Agreements and taking appropriate measures to ensure that these suppliers are reputed and offer data security guarantees, ensuring their legal processing under the law.
3. How long will we store personal data about you?
Pengefix will store personal data about you only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected
- Website cookies: Data related to cookies is automatically deleted 12 months after registration.
- App data: Personal data collected through the Pengefix App is stored for as long as you maintain an active account or as needed to provide the app's services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data unless required to retain it for legal purposes. Chat data is retained for the duration of your account or as necessary to provide the service, and is deleted upon account deletion or after 6 months of inactivity.

You have the right to access personal data that we process about you, including chat data from the Silje AI feature.

It is important that the information we have about you is accurate. You can request that Pengefix corrects incorrect or incomplete information about you or deletes any information we are not authorized to process.
Limitation of processing
You have the right to request that Pengefix limits the use of your personal data to storage only.
Objection to processing
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data when such processing is based on Pengefix's legitimate interests. In such cases, Pengefix will cease processing your data, subject to exceptions under the Personal Data Act. This includes objecting to the processing of chat data for purposes other than providing a personalized experience.
You always have the right to object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing and profiling related to such marketing.
Data portability
You have the right to receive the personal data you provided to Pengefix, which was necessary for fulfilling our agreement with you (e.g., app account data). We will provide this data in a structured, machine-readable format. Where technically feasible, you can request that this data be transferred directly to another controller.

Pengefix is committed to ensuring the security of your personal data and has implemented appropriate, necessary and sufficient security measures of a technical and organizational nature to protect them against dissemination, loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access, as well as against any other form of illicit processing.
6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Pengefix reserves the right to update this privacy policy. The current version will always be available on our website pengefix.no and within the Pengefix App.
